Verde Garden Structure

A collaborative project focused on community engagement and the construction of a multi-purpouse structure for Urban Tilth’s Verde Elementary School in Richmond, California

Working alongside the Oakland branch of Rebuilding Together, I studied the Bay Area’s socio-economic context and affordable housing crisis in order to fabricate a project for the benefit of a housing non-profit called Operation Dignity. The final project was a multipurpose structure at Urban Tilth’s Verde Elementary Site which increased the efficiency of a group of gardeners and students in the Richmond food desert.
